Fantastic stay with great food and friendly staff
I had a wonderful one-night stay in a quirky room that truly captured the essence of the inn. The meals, particularly the local sausages and mash, were delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly, especially Sarah, who helped me find free parking nearby. it would have been nice to have a bit more variety in the breakfast options.

Comfortable Stay with Room for Improvement
Our stay was pleasant, thanks to the comfortable King Room. dining experiences were disappointing. The steak was overcooked and service felt slow. My advice, check the menu carefully and alert the staff early. a decent place to rest after exploring the charming village.

Had a great time here with friends! The place was charming, and we loved the history. It's about 30 minutes from Bexhill's De La Warr Pavilion, which was a blast. Rooms were comfy and warm, and the staff was super friendly. Just a heads up, the stairs are steep, but it adds to the character!
We faced a hiccup at check-in. we arrived a bit late after a long walk and couldn't get in until 6 pm, which was tough after a long day.
